2024 Tigercat Chippers 6500

The Tigercat 6500 is a heavy duty down-swing chipper designed for high throughput and reduced knife wear.

Features may include:

  • Large diameter optional magnetic head pulley for effective metal removal
  • Single discharge conveyor with open bottom for clean operation and easy access
  • Easy maintenance access. Split hog box opens for full access to rotor and screens
  • Bolt-on hog box and feed conveyor for ease of service
  • Flexibility to produce chip sizes from 6-50 mm (0.25-2 in)
  • Pivoting track frames eliminate the need for outriggers
